Picture of Oscar D Martinez

My name is Oscar Daniel Martinez, and I simply love programming.

I started programming with GW-BASIC when I was 12 years old.

In high school, I learned other programming languages, such as Pascal, C, DBase, and Visual FoxPro.

In 2001, I completed my bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering. I learned many more languages, such as VB6, C++, SQL, Prolog, and Assembly.

I graduated in 2005 and moved to Southern California, where I’ve been working as a software developer ever since. Here’s where my journey in .NET and Java started.

When it comes to building enterprise software solutions, the best technologies to me are .NET (by Microsoft) and Java (by Sun Microsystems, now owned by Oracle). Most of my professional experience developing web and client applications has been with .NET, but in my spare time, I like to keep up with Java.

I created this blog to share my experience with .NET and Java. You will find some topics that I have experience with, as well as topics I’m just beginning to explore. Besides, all the content on the site is available in English and in Spanish!

I hope you find this site useful. Feel free to contact me if you have any comments or suggestions.
